Cat litter is getting stuck in my cat’s paws and he’s tracking it ALL OVER my apartment. We have one those littler mats but it barely helps. The best solution we found so far was a very large pebble litter but it was discontinued. Any product suggestions would be very helpful.

Thanks friends!

Kevin demonstrating how easy it is to place cat litter in his Litter House and remove smelly odor and foul material. The unique design of The LitterHOUSE cat litter box prevents dogs from eating cat litter. Stop coprophagia permanently!! Thousands of dogs die every year, due to eating cat litter. The litter turns “cement like” in their stomach and intestines. Lungs and inner organs can also be effected. The LitterHOUSE litter box design does not allow dogs to get their heads into the litter pan area If you own a dog; chances are you have experienced coprophagia (dogs eating feces). The word comes from the Greek, copro which means feces and phagy which means eat. And that is what it is eating feces. Although vulgar and disgusting for the owner; dog coprophagia is a common practice in all breeds of dogs; small puppies to older mature dogs. Nobody has any solid scientific evidence behind why animals engage in coprophagia. But some possible factors include vitamin deficiency and enjoyment. Many animals, including dogs, may eat poop because poop contains vitamins produced by the intestinal bacteria that the animal can’t absorb through the intestinal wall. So, they get these vitamins by eating poop. Dogs and some other animals also eat poop is because it contains protein. Dogs are particularly fond of cat poop because cat poop is high in protein. It is also suggested that dogs and other animals love the taste of feces.

What is the best cat litter for persian cat? I had tried fresh step, cat attract, and EverClean. My kitties have red eye (too many dirt on their eyes) when they use fresh step cat litter. Cat attract is 99% dust free cat litter but actually it made my kitties eyes just get worse. They are kind of fine with EverClean. We brought them to Vets and they all said you to try diffrent cats litter. Anybody please help me out .
Thanks in advance

Check out my photoblog at: www.danielvalentephotography.com This is our hidden litter box and cat organizer. The piece of furniture was a 55 gallon fish tank stand we got at petco. It was nice and made out of wood laminate. We cut a hole in the side and put molding for the entrance. The cats walk down a corridor that is lined with indoor carpet to minimize tracking. They then jump down in the litter box which has a motion-activated LED light. The box has plenty of storage for all of our cat stuff.

She’s a big girl, 11 years old :-) full grown, long hair, very fluffy tail. What kind of cat litter box would be comfortable for her, easy for me to maintain clean, AND discrete (to eyes and noses)? Thanks in advance!

I have 2 cats and have tried all different kinds of cat litter (scoopable, clay, expensive, cheap, etc…) and I find that no matter what I have an odor problem in about 2 days. I also find that my cats are pretty messy about it (they track litter everywhere when they are done). They are both "fixed" but they are both young (less than one year)and don’t seem to want to spend a lot of time being fastidious about their litter habits (are you kidding, that would take away from play time!) Maybe they just need to get a little older and slower. Any advice on quality of litter etc… would be appreciated!

When adopting are cats already cat litter box trained? Also do they take care of any shots and other issues before taking the cat home?

discribing a litterbox that is anti coprophagan, cat litter box, the litterhouse litterbox. With carl & shane from a touch of love and barb and dan from litterhouse.com Inc. Interview from a paws for helth tips, animal planet network channel.

My cat won’t use a dirty litter box so I scoop it daily, but now I realize she won’t use dirty litter. So after I scoop it I add fresh litter. This doesn’t always work. But I don’t know what makes her find this a problem, she will hold her urine and feces until I change the litter. If i don’t notice she is not using her box she will use my bathtub. This is becoming expensive! What should I do?
