I’ve had my kittens for about a week now and their litter tray has always been in one spot. I was cleaning it earlier and moved it, about a foot away. While my back was turned one of the kittens decided to pee exactly where the tray had been.
Do they become accustomed to where it is? I’m going to want to move it eventually, what the best way to do so?
scrape the curtain for a few seconds which is near the cat tray
does anyone know why she does this to the curtain?
She is a year old and is toilet trained but lately she hasn’t been using her litter tray (she has been going in corners). Why is she doing it and how can i stop it?
Will a boy cat be able to pee in a litter tray if you want to keep him indoors all the time?
This may sound like a really stupid question, but I am getting a kitten for the very first time tomorrow. I have never owned a cat before, and don’t know how to clean the cat litter tray? Do I empty the entire tray everyday or do I just scoop up the cats ‘litter’ and add a little more gravel stuff to top it up?
the pack i buy says it lasts 3 weeks, but i find after 1 week its gross and all yellow and pissy,,, how long is it meant to last?
and how deep should i fill the tray? the whole 2kg pack?
any litter tips would b awesome!!! [im a new cat owner
What can help to minimize the smell? I use a litter which says it helps to prevent oder, biscuits that claim to help reduce oder, and litter tray liners. Is there any specific food or litter which you’ve found particlarly good at reducing the smell? I’ve always had outdoor cats so this is all pretty new to me.
I put every cat poop i see straight down the toilet but it seems to be the pisss that’s the most potent, i change the whole tray every 2-3 days
