I realise that cat litter in general is bad if eaten by the rabbit, but Ruby’s litter tray is toped with another tray with holes so that she does not step on her poop and urine. so she can’t get at the cat litter at all, also I have put a thin layer of hay and shredded paper on top of the cat litter in the bottom tray to prevent it from being inhaled ( I only put the cat litter because it is more obsorbing that hay alone and controls bad odours better). Is it still likely to cause her any problems. please help me because this is my first rabbit, so I am not very experienced!! thanks load!
thanks a lot for all your reply. I think I will use news paper layered with paper towel for now until i buy rabbit litter. I did not know that they had litter specifically for rabbit! Thanks again !
I have had my cat for a year now, but in the last few month she will not poo in her litter tray. She will wee in it but nothing else. When i first got her she was 4 months old and used her litter tray all the time. But now she will not do it in the tray. I have not used anything different to when i first got her and brought her home. how do i get her to do it in the tray again? she is an indoor cat and never goes outside.
SO my cat’s been going to the toilet EVERYWHERE.. How do I get her to use the litter tray again?
I want to make a tray that holds cat litter that I can put in the toilet. I want the lip to fit the bowl underneath the seat so that the seat comes down on top of it. Anyone have any ideas on how to construct something like this?
My cat keeps pooping on the floor, he used to be litter trained until my auntie watched him for a few days when i picked him up and brought him home he has done nothing but poop on the floor, he goes in the litter tray if he needs a wee, we have tried all sorts to try and get him to go in the litter tray including putting pepper down, putting his food near where he goes but nothing works can anybody help???
She is more or less the same size as a few weeks ago, and could use the tray perfectly fine even while pregnant and large. But since she had the kittens, she scratches the litter like normal and then stands up instead of kneeling to poo, and the feces just falls off the edge of the tray onto my floor.
Why is she doing this? I have a cat just her size who can use the tray normally and it is always clean.
