Green solution for cat litter tray and general rubbish?
We have two cats and untill now have just kept the litter tray clean by scooping the doo-daa’s out into supermarket bags and then binning them.
Obviously this is not the way forward , so could anyone please suggest a realistic way to deal with the waste?
Would the best idea be biodegradable bags?
We also currently use plastic bags for daily kitchen waste which has also got to stop.
How do you deal with dailly waste?
The daily household waste has to be in individual bags before it goes in the wheely bin otherwise it will ming.
Sorry but I worry about the people who collect the waste at any expense.
I’d appreciate any practical solutions, and please no knitting tank-tops out of cat poo solutions.
Thank you.
Sorry should have mentioned that they are house cats. And although they like the garden, we have enough buried treasure from our neighbours cats.

Put the cat out in the yard in the mornings. Cat will ‘have a scratch’ i.e. dig a hole, quite naturally. Cat will fill it in afterwards too.
they make toilets that compost human feces, they actually dont even use water. you could use it for the cats. it doesnt leak odors. use biodegradable bags for the trash.
Throw the "doo-daa’s" in your garden to fertilize the plants.
I used a flushable biodegradable litter called good mews, there are several others on the market also, I just flush it when its dirty, take a leak and then add the cat waste to save water.
