How do I encourage my elderly cat to do his business outside again instead of using the litter tray?
We recently relocated and he had to spend 6 months in quarantine. He has always been an indoor/outdoor cat and never used a litter tray previously.

He’s an old man now; it might be better just to keep him indoors so that you can better monitor him. It sounds gross, but one of the ways to keep track of your kitty’s health is to watch his litterbox habits, and if the cat is outside all of the time, this would be impossible.
