Cats like there tray to be in a quiet and secluded area so ensure this is true.
I am sure that cats have a sense of humour and do this kind of thing just to annoy us…
Anyway, to answer the question, your cat has obviously decided that that is where it’s toilet is, and doesn’t understand that it’s wrong. I’d recommended putting your cat in a small room with just the litter tray and its food and water for a little while. Hopefully it will then make the association by its self.
My cat used to pee in the tub and sink when he had a bladder infection. The vet said that cats know when something is wrong and they consider the urine "unclean" and will not go in their usual place. It’s worth looking into.
If you have two male cats, then there may be a territory issue.
There is probably a scent behind the tv of something.. so it will return to there.. My cat used to do it.. What your best bet is to do is spray vinegar behind the tv when you can see the cat going towards it.. This will make the cat hate the smell of it and wont want to go back to there..
You can google products to stop cats doing this but spraying vinegar works too.. It smells but it does the trick
