We have three cats (all rescued feral) and I need a large cat box (I won’t bother to explain why). The ideal would be 28 in. by 40 in. and about 10 in. deep. The only dimension that I need to match pretty closely is the width of 28 in. I got a cement-mixing tray from Home Depot, but it’s not large enough. They have a larger size but it’s too big.
My mother inlaw took my cats litter box out my daughter’s room, saying it it disgusting to be there. I have always put it in the bedrooms since that is where the cats sleep. I see no problem with it and neither does my hubby.
I would rather the cat box be accessible if the cats ever got locked up in a bedroom and them using the carpet or beds to do their business.
