My cat has had a litter of 4 kittens. The kittens live upstairs in my sons’ bedroom but the cat litter box is downstairs in a bathroom with the door closed because it smells to badly despite me regularly cleaning it. I can’t put it upstairs with my sons for hygeine and because of the smell (my children are very young). How can I stop it from smelling, and also should I think about putting all the kittens in the downstairs bathroom in a box with warm blankets etc. so Mum can show the kittens how to use the tray. (My cat is being spayed once kittens have gone – which I’m dreading cos they’re adorable!).
She’s a big girl, 11 years old full grown, long hair, very fluffy tail. What kind of cat litter box would be comfortable for her, easy for me to maintain clean, AND discrete (to eyes and noses)? Thanks in advance!

My dog gets in the cat litter box and eats their poop pretty much everyday, and it makes him throw up everytime he does it. Does anyone know a good way to keep him out of the catbox without impeding the cats’ ability to use the potty. Thanks!

How often should you empty your cat litter box? lol. But I don’t know if my family is doing it often enough. (Not actually scooping it, actually emptying it and putting in more litter)

I love cats but have always hated one thing about them, the litter box. I looked for options for years. I saw a vented litter box on ebay. These things pull the cat litter box smells outside through a vent. They do require that a vent pipe to be installed through the outside wall . They seem like the answer. Anyone familiar with these?
