why does my cat go to her litter tray and not do anything?
my 4 month old cat will go to her litter tray….dig….crouch down to wee/poo…and wait for a while and stand up sniff…and dig to cover it up…but she hasnt done anything….why does she do this?

she probably has a bladder infection….get her to the vet before it gets worse. i have 2 cats that get bladder infections quite frequently and i have to take them to the vet and they are given antibiotics. there is a special cat food that you can buy to. but talk to your vet and see what he/she says.

How long has this been going on? If it is just today, the kitten needs the vet IMMEDIATELY. Even female cats can become blocked. Blocked means she can’t pass her urine. This can kill her. Get her to the ER.
If this is something that she has done for awhile, take her to the vet tomorrow.
She has some kind of urinary problem/infection she is telling yu about. Please get her to the vet tomorrow before it gets bad enough to kill her.l

Well, she may be having trouble passing. But cats don’t really like it when people watch them go, just like us. Maybe if you leave her alone, she will go. If this continues anyway, then call your vet.
